I’ve been thinking of titling this API queer zine, and one idea someone presented to me was “BAD ASIANS.”
Someone once called Filipinos “The bad Asians” to my face without knowing that both my parents were Boholanos.
As people who stand outside and within of normative race, gender, sexuality, presentation, let’s own up and be proud of the ways in which we are bad Asians.
