- My body is a matter of public discourse for both positive and negative reasons
- I can’t stop people from making decisions about me based on my fat, my skin color, my gender variance, so I might as well take strong ownership of exactly how I get put into public
- I’m influenced by other communities that are heavily involved in body politics, particularly feminists, trans people, and kinksters
- I’m interested in how queerness is physically manifest, such as with hair, clothing/costuming, and coded symbols
- Privacy is a privilege
- I’m interested in control and power, both invisible normative powers and how that relationship gets parodied by consensual power play
- Consent is beautiful, respect is beautiful, visibility is beautiful
